When we pulled up our driveway after a spontaneous trip to Charlotte, NC and I spotted the Young Living box on the doorstep, I was ridiculously excited. I am crazy stingy with my money so I don’t know how on earth dropping tons of money on these products brings me so much joy, but two of my favorite parts of the month are 1.) customizing my monthly essential rewards order andtell me the rest!

Over the edge of a boom
My husband has been encouraging me recently with constant reminders that getting started is the hardest part of running a business. Last week I wrote about the challenge that has been starting my own business, and I mentioned that I didn’t have any new business updates. Are you ready for this? That’s right, y’all–it finally “boomed.” The hardest part of starting a business is, of course, starting it. I am livingtell me the rest!
Working from home: You really can have it all
As much as I’ve always wanted to be a mom, I dreaded the idea of leaving the workplace behind. After all, my job was my mental stimulation, my routine, and my friends–I didn’t want to give it up. When I found out I was pregnant with my son, there was no question about it. I knew I wouldn’t be going back to work. Baby giggles and naps on the sofatell me the rest!
The edge of a boom
These last few weeks have been seriously frustrating. First, I tried to host an essential oils class and nobody came. Then I put out a brilliant Facebook ad on Beachbody income potential and I received over 100 comments from interested people and I wrote to and then followed up with every single one of them and yet I didn’t make one sale. Today I posted on all the Facebook mom groupstell me the rest!
When nobody came to my party
My husband has been trying to encourage me off the ground in my Young Living business for a while now. This weekend I attended the Young Living Live Your Passion rally in Raleigh and the ladies that spoke inspired me to push myself to, as one lady so eloquently put it, “punch fear in the face.” My fear in this business is rejection. How to punch that one in the face?tell me the rest!
4 ingredient clean eating chocolate
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE desserts. I live for desserts. (Just kidding, I don’t–I live for Jesus, but he gave me desserts and I am pretty darn thankful.) If it wouldn’t kill me, I would eat dessert after every meal including snacks for the rest of my life. But eating sugar-filled donuts, corn syrupy pecan pies, and even ostensibly healthy whole wheat chocolate chip cookies probably would kill me. Nottell me the rest!
The oily motherload
This month is what we like to call an investment–in other words, my husband and I spent way too much money but there will be a long-term payoff. Every once in a while, the free product promotions offered by the Young Living essential rewards program are just too good to pass up. That was definitely the case this month when I looked at those promotions and saw all the free oils helpedtell me the rest!
A good day for a good day
I wrote a post the other day about my fun sick day. I used my oils; the sickness was all but gone. Then hoity-toity me decided I didn’t need my oils anymore and stopped using them. Today I am as sick as a dog. This post will be short seeing as all I want to do is curl up into a ball and die, but I made myself a cup of teatell me the rest!
Moms don’t get sick days
I woke up this morning feeling, well…terrible. The first thing I noticed was my extremely painful throat. Last night my throat had felt a little weird and I chalked it up to nothing. I should have seen the signs and started on my oils yesterday night, but alas, no use crying over spilt milk. The second thing I noticed was that everything felt weird. Immediately it was obvious that I was getting sick, tell me the rest!
A venture into the unknown
My name is Emma Hall. Hello, blogging world. I hope this post finds you well. I’ve never blogged before. I am most certainly not witty, nor do I have a killer sense of humor. I wish I could write with the eloquence of my mother or the intelligence of my sister-in-law or the wit of my friend April. My husband consoled me by informing me that he would provide muchtell me the rest!
