As I write this, our fridge is looking a little bare and our pantry, somewhat pathetic. When we did our massive grocery shop three weeks ago, I committed to not setting foot in the grocery store again for the rest of the month. Most of it was for the sake for our budget–we tend to go into the grocery store for milk and come out an hour later with halftell me the rest!

The great crepe breakfast extravaganza
Here’s the thing: my husband is basically a breakfast mastermind. The kitchen is a place of brilliant epiphanies and creative outpour for him, but breakfast in particular seems to be his niche. My husband will attest to the fact that any time we go out to eat and there is a meal containing both cranberries and turkey on the menu, I will order it. If you’ve spent any time on my blog, you’ve probably realized I am a firm believer in simple recipes with few ingredients. This would definitely be one of those. These are not a low-calorie food because I believe calories are necessary to fuel your body, and after a tough workout or in the middle of a long afternoon at work, energy is necessary. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE desserts. I live for desserts. (Just kidding, I don’t–I live for Jesus, but he gave me desserts and I am pretty darn thankful.) If it wouldn’t kill me, I would eat dessert after every meal including snacks for the rest of my life. But eating sugar-filled donuts, corn syrupy pecan pies, and even ostensibly healthy whole wheat chocolate chip cookies probably would kill me. Nottell me the rest!
